Horse Program
The A Bar Ranch horse division is more than part of the ranch- it is the foundation of our work. For more than 35 years, A Bar Ranch has bred horses targeting traits for athleticism, cow-sense, and ability. These horses are put to the test daily through ranch work and a small portion in the performance industry. In 2020, A Bar Ranch was honored with AQHA’s Best of the Remuda Award, recognizing one of the top ranch horse programs across the country.’
Upcoming Sale
Our next horse sale will be hosted at the ranch headquarters in Claremore, Oklahoma. Buyers can join us in person or online to view and bid on our versatile horses.

Join us early October for our annual
Remuda & Colt Sale
Join us early October for our annual Remuda and Colt sale. This is a two day event starting with our $40,000 A Bar Ranch Futurity followed by our horse sale. The Remuda & Colt sale will feature weanlings, started two-year-olds, broodmares, yearlings, and aged riders.
Futurity competitors have the option of consigning their 4 or 5 year old to the sale.
