Dear Cattlemen,

This summer has been a blessing at the ranch, as well for most in neighboring areas.  Forage and water are in good supply and supplement cost are looking good going into the winter.  As the markets continue to fluctuate, the cow calf producer is still in the driver seat.  National cow numbers continue to show record low numbers and heifer retention shows no signs of beginning.  We are strongly optimistic with the opportunities that lay ahead the next few years.

On Aug 31^st we will be hosting our annual At The Ranch Fall Sale.  In this sale we be featuring a large selection of bred heifers; A Bar Ranch and 7S Stuart Ranch.  The heifers did outstanding this summer with exceptional conception rates and phenomenal condition coming off summer grass.  These heifers will be sorted into 30-day calving periods for the sale.  All heifers were natural serviced to low-birth-weight Express Ranch Angus bulls.  We will have angus, black baldy, red baldy, and ultrablack heifers.  Additionally, we will have a good selection of pairs, fall bred young cows, and 200 head of young spring bred cows. All cattle are in good rig ready to go to work.
