Our horses are more than part of the ranch, they are the foundation of daily work. For over 35 years, our family has bred ranch horses with the cow sense, conformation, and athleticism. In 2020, this commitment was recognized with AQHA’s Best of the Remuda Award, honoring one of the nation’s top ranch horse programs.

Cattle
At A Bar Ranch, our cow-calf operation starts right here at home. For over 40 years we have selected for efficiency in multiple fields of performance, highlighting traits to boost fertility and longevity. Every female is raised to meet the real demands of ranch life -fertility, longevity, and uniformity.
Alongside our cow-calf operation we market more than 10,000 bred cows and heifers through our sales company, Armitage Livestock. Here you can find A Bar Ranch cattle genetics through our heifer sales each spring and fall. These auctions are held at our Claremore, Oklahoma headquarters spring, fall, and early winter.
